Hey Judson. Just saw we missed your comment. I do apologize but we did extend our hours since you posted! I hope that counts for something.

Hey Guys!

I was actually in your cafe a few weeks ago and had an awesome experience!

I was hoping to speak to someone about your coffee and flavor variety, specifically the nitro coffee. I know you get your beans from Nicholas Roasters but wasn’t sure if that was the only roaster you utilized?

Anyways just had a few questions!

Hope you have an awesome day and looking forward to speaking with you.

Hey Carson,

Sorry for the late reply. Nicholas Roasters is our majority supplier of roasted beans. Occasionally we will also source some roasts for drip coffee from Prestogeorge. Our Nitro Cold brew is the French Roast from Nicholas. We found that the darker roasts lend themselves to our cold brewing methods.

When are you opening on Mt Lebanon Blvd? Will you be selling food as well? I don’t drink coffee but i love non-fat Chai latte. Will you have those as well as coffee? Thank you

Hi Karen,

We will be opening very soon. Please like us on Facebook. We will be making the announcement this weekend and social media will be the quickest way to get the news. We will be selling packaged baked goods such as biscotti, chocolates, cookies and gluten free specialties sourced from local bakeries. We love Chai! In fact, we brew our chai tea in house to use in whatever variety you like. Non fat options are skim milk or almond milk.

Hi, I’m a big fan of your new Mt Lebo location! However, ever time I am in the store, the music is so loud that I can barely think (and I normally come to do work). Can you guys turn it down a bit?

Thanks for the comment! 🙂 I will make some adjustments to the volume controls.

Holy Smokes guys!!!!

You are now in Mt. Lebo?!? That’s just 3 miles from where I work. You both know that Noel & Jonathan love to visit you guys (and Miss Kim & Miss Jessica) at the Ambridge coffee house. I can’t say enough good things about the coffee, staff, & environment. As you know, the kids love their treats that they get there as well. You both have always made my kids feel welcome and comfortable in your coffee house & that is all the more reason to continue to wish you the best for what the future brings.

Keep Dreaming!!!

You’re doing great.

See you soon,

PS. Noel is looking forward to going back down to the Blue Canary for another “paint your own mug” night. I have all of the mugs that the kids have painted proudly displayed on top of a cabinet in my kitchen. Great memories!

Thanks David! I hope to see you soon at the new place. I think Noel will love the artwork and there is plenty of space for Jonathan to run up and down. 🙂

I saw on Zomato that Blue Canary Coffeehouse has an outdoor seating area and was wondering if you also allow dogs. We’re looking for places around Pittsburgh to bring our pup (when the weather is nice).

Dogs are welcome as long as they are well behaved:-). Our Ambridge location has two tables outside and Castle Shannon has one table but we leave them inside during the winter. Thank you for your interest. -Stephen

Hi, I was at gluten free Goat bakers in Bloomfield this past week and I hear you will be selling some of their products at your coffee house? What types of items, baked goods? When will they be available. We will be coming in a lot with our son who needs gluten free/vegan items. Thanks!

October 24th, 2017 at 8:16 am

Sorry for the late reply. At this time we carry the vegan and gluten free donuts from gluten free goat. Currently there are three varieties in our gluten free case. Thank you

First time customer. I figured I would stop in an give it a whirl. My son plays hockey and It is a dream to have a coffee shop right next to the rink. The coffee I ordered was amazing, however the person who served me was unfriendly and distracted. Questioned my order like I was a 3 year old. It seems as though in an empty coffee shop I was an inconvince to serve. They forgot something in my drink which was no big deal, but I said ty very much have a good day and nothing. Kinda disappointed! Maybe I will give it a second chance since the coffee is so good.

I am very sorry to hear that. This is not the kind of greeting and disposition we want our employees to have! If it is any consolation that barista is no longer with us. Thank you for your patronage and we look forward to serving you again.
